About RRR

Rise.Raise.Riso began with a conversation between illustrators Eva Eland and Melissa Castrillon in April 2024. It has now grown into a group of illustrators who want to raise both awareness and funds for organisations doing vital work to support and stand in solidarity with persecuted and vulnerable people around the world.

Right now, when the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is deepening every hour, with a devastating civilian death-toll, decimation of infrastructure, the systematic targeting of medical facilities and staff and the unimaginable impact of the ongoing assault on surviving women, men and children, our first fundraiser is for Medical Aid for Palestine.

Founded in 1982, MAP works in partnership with Palestinian communities to uphold their rights to health and dignity. MAP’s team in Gaza were among the first to respond to the current emergency and remain one of the only international organisations working to provide humanitarian and medical services, including in the north.

In Gaza, they are working hard to source and distribute life-saving medical supplies as well as vital humanitarian aid, collaborating with other organisations on the ground to ensure these get across the border and reach the people who need them.

They’ve organised Emergency Medical Teams with the International Rescue Committee to treat injuries and infections and support Palestinian healthcare workers. These EMTs have been working alongside staff in some of the worst-hit hospitals of the Gaza Strip.

MAP also operate in the West Bank, where the last 7 months have seen an escalation in military and settler violence. Visit their website to learn more about their work.

We have Riso prints and digital downloadable prints available.
RISO prints are made with a Risograph printer. It looks like a photocopier, but works as a screenprinter, using rich spot colours and stencils to create tactile and vibrant prints, affordably and with little impact to our environment.

All Riso prints are printed by Eva Eland in her studio in Amsterdam, Holland.

100% of the profits of every sale will go to Medical aid for Palestine. The only thing we take off is P&P for our Riso print sales. Help us reach our goal of raising as much as we can for this vital organisation.
